Much better than last year. It is amazing how many things you can learned from a failed garden in the year before.

I have carrots, radishes, zucchini (squash), cukes, cantaloupe and tomatoes coming in full blast. Love it. Here are some pictures from my garden taken before I have any real yield.

This one cracks me up every time I see it! I love the part where Pax is cramming the egg in his mouth! He is so aggressive when eating things like pizza and rice and stuff – he does this same thing. So much fun!!

The great thing about mommy doing DIQ in Mary Kay is Daddy gets to spend a bunch of time with the kids at the park!! It really is a lot of fun. It isn’t going great. I have officially been able to reduce (although not close) two accounts, and merge them into other accounts I have. I knew it would be difficult, but didn’t really have a sense that it would be this tough. The main reason it is such a struggle is that I risk losing data in the accounts that are out there and not just emails (which can be transferred) but other stuff tied to my websites and client websites. I am going to get off this train now and just suck it up again, but it is something I will probably have to revisit within a few years.

Nice, black, fertile looking raised bed peaks and troughs. So stoked to see how our garden grows this spring!! With weather like we had lately, we will have a banner crop! Here’s hoping there aren’t any more frosts that are going to sneak up on me!

Things planted include:

  • Carrots
  • Beets
  • Radishes
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • Cucumbers
  • Sunflowers

Super stoked to see how well we do. I did alot less intentional digging and burying. Kind of extreme on the opposite of last years fastidiousness with the precision and intentional digging. All the strategy didn’t serve me so well. Very small yield.
