nothing on…

i have access to satellite radio and it amazes me sometimes how there can be so many channels, yet nothing decent on the radio. i figured it would always have a good mix and always have at least something tolerable on. nope. i loved the first week because i have been out of the loop with new songs on the radio, but now, i have heard them so many times *yawn* i am bored with it.

All the same, all the time… most of the people I know that have it listen to morning shows on the commute.
Up here, I found a classical station I liked to listen to…then they changed to format to Oldies (60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s) and then that station went to HD radio and the new station was “Inspirational Music”, i.e. gospel. Not that there is anything wrong with inspirational music, but I liked the classical (no words to derail my fragile mind) and tolerated the oldies. Now there is nothing. Oh, bother.

remember when bruce springsteen had that song – 57 channels and nothing on – well, it still applies. only now its like, 257 channels and nothing on.
