		<description>That&#039;s so cool.  I didn&#039;t know you hiked the AT.  Someone at the lab did it pretty much straight through in like 6 months.  Of course, he stumbled and tore all kinds of ligaments in his back and now walks all crooked, but he did it.  I think the segments idea is much more manageable.  

I have done some small sections of it (where it intersects/overlaps the trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park).  There was even one part where one side of the trail was NC, the other Tennessee.  I didn&#039;t see the line, though.  And Tennesse wasn&#039;t purple.  I was disappointed about that.</description>
