we are doing it again. hoping it sticks this time. although, i am fairly convinced it will. if I can just figure out how to get Jess from being so overwhelmed with school, we have a fighting chance of losing the pounds, permanently. i have been exercising regularly, and feel like I can already tell a difference. although my mood has been pretty sour 
is this really what a blog is all about? don’t i have anything more interesting to say? nope.
i have access to satellite radio and it amazes me sometimes how there can be so many channels, yet nothing decent on the radio. i figured it would always have a good mix and always have at least something tolerable on. nope. i loved the first week because i have been out of the loop with new songs on the radio, but now, i have heard them so many times *yawn* i am bored with it.
just to let everyone know – my time working for myself has allowed me a little more time to figure out my hobbies. my buddy Jason and I started a new website called “Trail Angel“. We are going to be posting information about the Appalachian Trail and also stories about Trail Angels. If you don’t know what one is, check out the site.
for those of you who wonder what is really on my mind…its this:
i think i like working for myself. some people become independent consultants out of necessity (they get fired, laid off, or quit because the job sucks) I didn’t really have that situation – I have been systematically growing my business and its just the right time to be working on it full time. Its pretty fun – and if I didn’t get so lonely during the day – it would be perfect. Thats why I am very excited to be working at a client’s site a bunch this week. Human interaction.
So since its been a month – and I haven’t really mentioned it on the blog – I thought now would be a good time to say, yes – it is going well, and i think i made the right choice. Guess I’ll know more when I have a dry spell and see how I weather it.
