“Why?”

Good question.

Its because tomorrow I am driving a car to work that I built with my own two hands. You remember that project car I started in 1999? It is finally “driveable”. I just finished putting insurance on the car and tomorrow I will drive it to the tax collectors office to transfer the tags and get a new title. Its been 8 years in the making, with off and on passion. Mostly, I worked hard for a few years to get out of debt but now I have had the ability to throw some money at it and really get it ready for the road. There are a few things I am going to be without, but since this is an open-forum, I must forego the details. Suffice it to say, I don’t think it will be dangerous to anyone but myself. For instance, I don’t have a water temperature gauge. If the car overheats, it could be a big bummer. But I have had the car run for several minutes without overheating so I think we’re all set in that arena.

I’ll let you know how it goes!

Here is what it looked like about 3 years. Not much different. Although it was less an engine.

Cool! Gonna luck for a mustang while you’re out there or just drive it in?
