We’re debt free! We sold the old Ford Taurus on Saturday, I am depositing the cash today and I scheduled the last credit card payment for tomorrow! We have been working toward this goal for the last 30 months!! And we finally did it! Snaps for paying off Citibank *snapping fingers*
So apparently AI is looking for freaks, and not real talent. Yeah, maybe I am little bitter, but they missed a good one today. Oh well, at least now I know that I get to keep my wife for the next few months.
Jess is in Birmingham getting ready to audition for AI. ‘What is AI’, you ask? AI is the phenomenon known as American Idol. I don’t know if anyone else calls it that – but I do.
Jess is sitting in line, she called me just a few hours ago and apparently they are filming – she is probably on film – people were cheering and she said she is about 50 yards from Ryan Seacrest. Its so funny because I really haven’t paid much attention to the AI in years past, but I started feeling excited for Jess when I heard the crowds cheering behind her. It sounds like a pretty energized environment, I just hope she stays confident and does as well as she is capable.
I’m sure we’ll update you on how it goes.

Advertising for my own company on my family blog. Ick. I was thinking about posting all our honeymoon pics and stuff like that, but really, shouldn’t I just get a flickr account? Why not let them handle all the bandwidth and server strain of downloading megabyte after megabyte of pixel data. We’ll see. After seeing my friend Ryan’s awesome Hawaii Honeymoon website, I think I need to step it up a bit.
Here is our new blog on our new server. This is taking the place on my old site – boyleroy.com. So if you got here because of being redirected, well, then that is a good thing. I used to have lots of spiffy pictures and scripts on the old site…but I have moved on to bigger and better things. So we’ll see how this new site goes. I’m sure when we start adding to our family – this will be the spot to checkout info on it.
